The School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering has an effective and cooperative teacher team. Professional teachers take effort in improving their teaching skills as required by the school. Currently, teachers in our school have more than 70 kinds of certificates as senior engineer, engineer, economics, assistant engineer, technician, training lecturer, senior evaluators, evaluator, senior worker, junior worker, senior salesman and old vehicle evaluators, etc. Most of teachers has two or more certificates, dual - teacher type talents have gotten 100% in the college.

With the development of automobile division，the influence of teachers of automobile and communication school is growing in the community. The School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering has always paid good attention to teaching research work. There are 20 teaching research programs hosted or attended by Professional teachers. Among these projects, 2 projects of Ministry of Education, 3 province standard projects, and 16 college’s program. We got 2 of the second prize in province, 1 first prize and 1 second prize at college. We compiled 13 textbooks, 2 of them are the 11th five year plan text books

The teachers of The School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering are good at the research. In recent years there are more than 30 types of scientific research projects, of which 3 projects at the provincial level, 4 at the municipal level; 2 national invention patents, 2 new utility model patents. Successfully developed the world's leading automotive automatic transmission of computer monitoring and control units, established automotive automatic transmission fixing sample laboratory, developed used vehicle evaluation system. We also cooperate with CADURI company in Israel and have developed international level auto electric technology teaching research equipment to meet the demand of auto vocational education.
