Automotive and Transportation Engineering College was founded in the year of 2004, including four majors: Application of automobile technology, Auto service and marketing, Auto electronics and Traffic safety/intelligent control. Many professional and experienced talents are serving for School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering, including 57 employees and 25 lecturers, 4 of which have Ph.D degree, 28 have MS degree and 11 are senior lecturers.

The goal of the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering is to output the first class skilled technicians to serve for the china's auto industry. Emphasizing on bridging the auto market and teaching focus, School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering always exerts to cultivate her students' ability of applying both of their technical and management knowledge to their future careers and our country's development. School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering has founded more than 40 certified training bases and tens of companies for the student training, which provide valuable opportunities for the students to improve their technical skills. From the year 1996, School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering made significant achievements by outputting more than 1000 talented students to the society. More than 98% of the graduated students work in their desired positions and are actively serving to the auto industry, such as auto repair, auto market, quality evaluations, traffic controls, etc. In recent years, the employment “take-up” rate has also been above 98%. Employers tell us our graduates are easily assigned, are easily trained on-the-job, and become excellent members of staff.
